First time since moved to new home.

My hooman @GwenfarsGarden is with me to make sure the big corvids & seagulls don't get me. It's good to explore.

When we first rose up against the dragons, there was a critical flaw in our plan.

We knew they were rich beyond our wildest imaginations; that they'd hoarded their wealth, invested it a thousand million times over, and their greed made them callous. We assumed the archons in power were intrinsically evil, and that dragon society would crumble when beheaded.

Our strategy was to defeat them one by one, a gradual erosion of our oppressors.

Today’s card is The Fool, wishing you a hopeful beginning today. There may be difficulties and dangers ahead but for now, pure innocent joy and optimism will carry the day. Trust your instincts and say goodby to normalcy and routine

Days like today which is dominated by doing stuff I have little interest in, building shelving, so I can organise stuff that is mostly just taking up space. Reminds me of what just a noose having stuff is.

#SaturdayMorningBlenderTime this week was focused on fleshing out last week's mountain and its surroundings.

There's still a compositing pass to do on it to really hone some of the values. For now, I learned a lot and I'm pretty happy with how it came out!

Last Sunday afternoon I built the shelving unit you can see this afternoon I am building a second. A reflection we still have too much crap in our lives. But we each have our own priorities.

The price for the winning Cockatoo was the shaving off of its CREST, after years of practise the publican had developed the LEAST painful way to shave the CREST. The shave ensured the winning cockatoo would not win for a few months.

Every MONTH the pub had a PRIZE for the Cockatoo with the best CREST. The cockatoos would fly in from miles around, line themselves up for inspection and the publican would inspect them all. The cockatoos would all get a free meal for their efforts. The winning Cockatoo would get free food and drink from the pub for a month.

John took down his music player with ghost sounds to the boat shed and in an OVERT act of revenge used his radio control of the KAYAK to return the KAYAK to the shed while gradually turning up the volume of the ghost sounds. One of the workers in a FAINT fell from the roof where they were working and into the water.

During the REFIT of the boat shed John’s KAYAK accidentally slipped into the water. John had recently added radio remote control to the KAYAK including a tiny motor. John was incensed when he found out his KAYAK was missing.

Our @FreyaKitteh is getting eager for outsidey time, but she is going to have to wait another week. We want the house to be more settled (ie most packing done and the house feeling like her home) before she gets let out. For now she is just window cat.

Went for a walk in Duke Gardens this morning and thought I’d share some photos!

The tall orange flowers are called Ginger Lilies. They are actually in the ginger family and aren’t actually lilies.

There are two hens in this picture, preview notwithstanding. The white hen is called a Silky; her name is Q-Tip, and the copper one is named Ginger.

My setup for the digital piano is pretty much done. One day I will get around to tidying up the cables, today is not that day.

The challenge of terraforming is finding a balance between artistry and scale.

There are neoplanets out there where every perfect fjord is hand-modelled, every forest uncannily beautiful and every hill precisely honed for a pleasant stroll in the afternoon sunshine, but that sort of work requires a multi-generational effort of geo-engineering guilds, operating from close orbit.

Yet bashing a few rocks together doth not a New Eden make.

They hatched from their shell, found that the human cryogenic system had failed. On this planet, never seen by humans the robot using the equipment available to it built more robots in its image and named the planet Robot Planet.
