User documents for program foo are in ~/.local/share/foo unless they're scattered wherever the dev wanted.
Why are user documents in a HIDDEN FOLDER?!

For reference, Mac user documents are in ~/Documents Unless they're in ~/Library/Application Support/foo for non-user-accessible parts, or ~/Library/Mobile Documents/iCloud~foo for iCloud which is trying to be Linux-stupid.
